Terms of Service

These are the terms between you and TakumiForm. By using the service you agree to them. They're written in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain.

1. What TakumiForm is

TakumiForm is a tool that customizes, embeds, and adds features to your existing Google Forms™. We do not replace Google Forms — we sit on top of it. Your account, your forms, and your responses remain accessible inside your own Google account at all times.

2. Your account

2.1 Signing up

You sign in with a Google account. You're responsible for keeping that Google account secure. If someone else gets in through your Google account, they get into TakumiForm too.

2.2 One account per person

For now, accounts are individual, not shared workspaces. If you're an agency managing forms for clients, talk to us — proper team support is on the roadmap.

2.3 You're responsible for what you do with it

You won't use TakumiForm to:

• Send spam, phishing forms, or anything designed to deceive respondents.
• Collect data you don't have permission to collect.
• Host illegal content (CSAM, malware, IP infringement, anything sanctioned).
• Attack the service or other users (rate-limiting bypass, scraping, DDoS).
• Resell TakumiForm as your own product without a written agreement with us.

If you do any of that, we will close your account.

3. Your content stays yours

You own your forms, responses, branding, and uploaded files. We don't claim a license to any of it beyond what we need to actually run the product (showing your form to respondents, storing it in our database, backing it up). When you delete a form or close your account, your data goes with it within 30 days.

4. What we own

The TakumiForm code, design, brand, and infrastructure are ours. You're welcome to use the product; you're not licensed to copy it.

5. Privacy

How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy. It's part of these terms.

6. Payments and refunds

6.1 Subscription plans

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We won't charge you again after that.

6.2 Refunds

We're a small team and we'd rather have happy customers than reluctant ones. If something isn't working for you, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it, no forms. After 14 days, refunds are case-by-case.

6.3 Free trial

Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial. We ask for a card when you sign up so the switch from trial to paid is automatic. You can cancel any time during the trial from your account settings and you won't be charged. If you forget and get charged on day 8, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it under section 6.2.

7. Availability

We aim for high uptime. Starter and Pro plans get best-effort, and we'll be transparent on the status page when something is wrong. Business plans can negotiate an SLA in writing.

8. Limits of liability

TakumiForm is provided "as is". We're not liable for:

• Downtime of Google Forms, Google Sheets, Stripe, or any other third party we depend on.
• Loss of data caused by your own Google account being deleted or revoking permissions.
• Indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption.
• Use of the service in violation of these terms.

Where the law allows us to cap our liability, the cap is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Where the law doesn't allow us to limit liability (consumer protection, gross negligence, fraud), we don't try to.

9. Termination

You can close your account any time. We can close yours if you violate these terms (see section 2.3) or if you don't pay. We'll email you first unless the violation is urgent (e.g. illegal content).

10. Changes to these terms

If we change anything material, we'll email account holders at least 7 days before it takes effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) we'll just update with the date at the top.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes go to the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
